I’m always on the lookout for living room inspiration. Even though we’ve lived in our 1800s Scandinavian cottage for almost 2 years, I feel as if the designing process is never quite finished. My head is full of ideas of things we could do with this small space! The only problem is that I can’t make it all happen. The thing is this: I would love a reading nook AND a dining room table AND a play space for kids AND a space to watch TV and so on… Our living room is quite small so I can’t have it all. Anyways, I wanted to share some beautiful living room inspo I’ve found on pinterest lately. I love the mix of modern and vintage cottage. Maybe you’ll find some ideas for your own cozy living room?

I adore the way they designed this space. The couch has many throw pillows but it doesn’t look messy at all. They’ve done such a great job in balancing neutrals and beautiful patterns. The large tree and bookcase in the back are gorgeous details that really bring the space together.

Cozy Seating Area

Check out this gorgeous seating area. This just screams cozy vibes. The pillows, the botanical touches and the lamp… Every detail is perfection. We have some large windows in our own home that are facing the mountains. Maybe I should create a seating area like this right in front of the windows?

Imagine hosting a dinner in this area. It’s simple, yet so cozy! I adore the vintage chairs and the way they styled the table. Ceiling beams always give cozy cottage vibes.

A beautiful space to wind down

What a perfect space to have tea with a friend or just to hang out after a long day. The style of this space is classic and cozy at the same time. The round coffee table is absolutely perfect. And I love the colour they chose for the walls!

I mean… Just look at this space! Can I move in right now? If we had a fireplave in our living room, I’d love to do something like this. Imagine reading a book or having guests over in this kind of space. So gorgeous and inviting.
